# 27 The Day of Jehovah, When? Finally! an answer to Daniel 12:11,12.

The Day of Jehovah, When?

It is not for man to guess exact days or dates, but we can see fulfillment of prophecy that time has revealed. See what you think of this.

When I was studying the Bible in the mid to late 90s, I asked the question of the man I was studying with, “What do these numbers, here, at the end of the book of Daniel mean?” “The rest of the numbers, times and days seem to have an explanation, how about these?”

The Brothers said they would “ask the elders and do some research”. They returned another time with their answer, “It’s for the ‘Anointed’”!??

That really wasn’t an answer; saying it’s for the “Anointed” also, it was very vague, as there are many who have been and are called “Anointed”. Christ Jesus, Jehu, etc.

The 'Anointed' they meant on this occasion though were 144’000 chosen as 'Kings and Priests who would be a a part of God's Kingdom arrangement. Or, more specifically, those heading the teaching and preaching work at that time, within the J.W. organisation, "The Governing Body" and or the writers 'as a part of that group'.

But that never sat well with me! Daniel foretold that many would "rove about" and "have understanding". So, logically, there must be an explanation, or at least a time when it would become clear. Otherwise why would it be there? This among other points had always stuck out in my mind as vital.

The Bible foretold that many would be whitened and understand

The scripture at Daniel 12:11,12 reads; “And from the time that the ‘constant feature’ has been removed AND there has been a placing’ of the “disgusting thing” that "IS" causing desolation, there "WILL" be 1290 days. Happy is the one who arrives at the 1335 days”.

Being the last words of Daniels prophecy, surely it is the finale of God’s prophetic word for the current time period we live in, as it lays out key points in all human history, in relation the worlds affect on pure worship, in the preceding chapters.

Surely there must be a clear understanding of these things, especially now as we are at the doorstep of change. 2tim 3:16,17 assures us, "All scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight etc."

Phil 1:9 also, "That your love may abound - and with accurate knowledge and FULL DISCERNMENT". Jesus himself assured us that all WILL become known, Luke 8:17,

"There is nothing hidden that will not become manifest, neither anything concealed that will never become known and never come into the open".

Just as the sun is sure to light up the new day, so God will make sure all things are open and exposed at the appointed time for it.

The verses in 9,10 of Daniel Ch 12 relate how and when these would be understood. “The words would be SECRET until the time of the END.” There would be a spiritual element that would be “Acting wickedly”, and they would not understand.

As Jesus foretold, they “would take no note” to the signs before them. They like Judas would have a “veil” over their eyes, the wicked simply “would not see”. “But the one’s having insight would understand”. MT 24:36-44, Luke 2:32, 2 Cor 3:13-16.

At Daniel 11: 30b – 35, also discuss in further detail the outworking of fulfilled prophecy, regarding the “constant feature” the “Disgusting thing” the “wicked ones” and those “having insight”.

The Bible book of Joel then gives striking detail of how events would then unfold. As is often the case, it’s not till after events happen that things become clearer.

It is important to note that as mentioned in other Blogs, such Prophecy, much of God's word is not always literal in fulfilment, but spiritual. That is, it describes the spiritual standing of supposed worshippers before God and the resulting heart condition of such ones, leading to calamity brought upon themselves by their actions.

Very rarely in the Bible record does Jehovah, personally, act against ones. If he does it is to rectify a situation that would have had long lasting effects on his relationship with man. for example; the account of David counting Israel, despite warnings not to.

As I have discussed in other Blogs, the “disgusting thing” appears to be the current, “unfaithful slave class” or “wicked slaves", those currently leading the Jehovah's Witness organisation, who have been, “beating the sheep”, since approximately the year 2010.

Gradually, by using the trust bestowed their position, they began to herd the sheep off into the wilderness, leaving Jehovah’s barn bare. “I have a not right economy, but a placebo”, he said.

Mt 24: 45-51.

Just as the first century Christians knew the threat of apostasy was among them, so too, some in modern times had their eyes open. Acts 20: 29,30. I believe at least 2 of these, Brothers Barr and Jaracz, bottom right, were aware of what was going on.

Eventually these very ones replaced entirely, the spirit begotten Sons of God's Kingdom, His representatives here on Earth.

These new ones replaced the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures with a watered-down version, lacking heart and love, it and they have even “taught as doctrine commands of men”. saying; In effect, Jehovah never gave man free will, he can and will make you, or anyone, do what he wants to get his way. You essentially are a puppet, according to their reckoning. Jehovah, a selfish bully. (my words)

Likewise, they paint Jesus as just a lowly man; “the offspring of mankind”. Among many other sins, they “Blasphemed the Holy Spirit”. See my other Blogs 3-8 & 27 and others for details.

The “Disgusting thing” surely is “in a Holy Place”, (the place from where pure spiritual food once flowed). The other key component that was relayed to Daniel, and in turn, us, stated; “the ‘constant feature’ HAS been removed”. When did that happen? And what is this “Constant feature”?

Matthew 28:19,20 describes the work that all true Christians were commissioned to carry out until the “Conclusion of the system of things”. Fulfill “All the things I commanded you”, Jesus said.

Top of that list, other than love was “preach the word”, "The good news of God's Kingdom, and from; “House to House”. Jesus sent hid disciples out in organised and pre instructed groups, setting the pattern for the modern day disciples, that is J.W.s. As I also mentioned before, the key prophecies being fulfilled in our day are being done so by this group. In no way is this a blanket statement, meant to downgrade the faith, devotion or love for God of other groups or individuals.

The Explanation becomes clear!

The Footnote for “constant feature” say’s it is “the ‘continual’ sacrifice”.

Cross referencing this we come to Hebrews 13:13-15, “bearing the reproach he bore, - let us ‘ALWAYS’ offer to God a Sacrifice of Praise”. This “constant Feature” is the preaching work, “disciple” making.

Jesus said, just before leaving for Heaven “keep on”, could God’s people ever stop this work, as described and “commanded” by The Lord? Never!? Surly not!

Jesus sent out his disciples Luke 10: 1 - 12, and instructed this work to be ongoing till his return. Mt 28: 19,20.

[I realised that for most who have no association with Jehovah's Witnesses nor their teachings, further detail may be needed to grasp the references to the "Constant feature". J.W.s have always focused heavily on the disciple making and preaching work, that is, "The Sacrifice of praise".

Hebrews 13:15, "Let us always offer to god a 'sacrifice of praise', that is, the fruit of lips which make public declaration to his name".

This was scripturally inspired by such texts and commands about this work, instituted by the Lord Jesus himself, as part of the prophecy regarding the "Last days" and his "presence", and was continued by the disciples after his return to heaven.

For example: Matthew 24:14 indicates the extent of this Kingdom preaching work, it will be accomplished prior to the "End of this system of things". A far reaching work indeed.

Desiring to be counted among his faithful ones, they, J.W.s, considered the command given to his disciples prior to his ascension to heaven found at Mt 28: 19,20 to be vital and thus applying to all baptised and dedicated Christians. This instruction, given to Jesus' 1st century followers, should be continuously followed by successive worshippers of The Living God and disciples of the Lord Jesus.

The Pilgrims who left on the Mayflower for example.

To that end the "House to House" ministry was vital as; a "Sacrifice of praise" and an undying expression of faith. Acts 20:20, Luke 8:1, Mt 9:35, and commanded them to do the same after first, demonstrating and instructing, how this was to be done. "Be aglow with the spirit" and "Be at it urgently" was the attitude recommended. Mt 10:5-15 which applied, first, to the nation of Israel and later, the command at Mt 28:19,20 was extended to all nations and tongues. Once the "lost Sheep of Israel" were given an opportunity, first, to be instructed as to God's intentions for pure worship, moving forward.

Then Jesus instituted a world wide ministry of public preaching and he went declaring "the Kingdom has drawn near", in modern times this work was solely done by J.W.s.

Not to minimise the dedication of other faiths, but these have been under obligation, yes, they have been responsible before , both the Father and the Son, to CONTINUE this till he arrives, which they stopped.

Except I believe by phone or letters etc. no longer, "publicly" and "from house to house", as was commanded.

This is the "Sacrifice of praise" the "constant feature", I am referring to, and the scriptures appear to support this statement. Interestingly, as Jesus indicated in Chapter 10 of Matthews account, those doing this work would be objects of hatred among the nations, family and governments, again, the experience primarily of J.W.s]

The Constant Feature ceases!

7th April 2020, full moon on the Luna calendar, the World Health Organisation, depicted as one of the beast in Revelation, instructed ALL religions to curtail their activities.

Religious organisations, “should comply with guidance issued by national and local authorities”.

I do not know what directives were handed down, and when, by the “wicked slave” (the Governing Body of J.W.s in modern times) as I have continued to follow my “God as Ruler, rather than men”.

I have not been in association with “anyone called a Brother”, and I “quit touching the unclean thing”, so as, to hopefully Keep my relationship with my Lord Jesus, and in turn Jehovah and the Holy Angels. So, I do not know exact dates that the “door to door” work stopped.

My thinking is that it was similar to the command that was given to Israel when told to return to their land by a World ruler, likewise today. It is likely the same.

The people all “bowed” before the “wild beast”, Rev 17:12-14, and the declaration from the “John class” was, “Turning their back on the Lamb, ‘they give their power and authority to the wild beast”. And the Brothers all followed, "They took no note".

Of course, the health situation, that is, the Covid outbreak, brought about this worldwide action. Nonetheless, it has all been fulfilled prophecy. “They did just so”.

As regards the math, 1290 days (new moon) from and including the 7th April 2020 brings us to, 18th 0ct 2023, if my calculations are correct. Dec 1st, 2023 is the 1335 days (also full moon) when "The man" will be declared happy.

This of course is if the start date is correct. If the signs as mentioned in Daniel are the correct ones that I have pointed to, and if 1290 days, are literal days.

This being declared "Happy", is obviously from God's standpoint. That being the case, anyone who gains His smile of approval, will be precious in His eyes.

Does this mean that all things will be grand for those individuals all their days? Well, not necessarily.

Until Satan's system of things is fully wrapped up, extra pressure from Demonic trials of life will continue. Recall the words, "He (Satan) is roving about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour someone". And even on into the new system of things, once he is removed, life will have it's challenges.

If you are serving God with a date in mind, longing for an easy life and pampering.

Your view of reality is not quite right. Of far more value is a clear conscience with God, than an abundance of wealth. If you desire to take it easy, and be nothing but "Happy", your in for a shock. Life is for living, good and bad. Why, even Job worked that out, saying; "Should we not accept what is bad from God also?" Job 2;10.

And he had far less to base his conclusions on regarding faith, compared to us today.

Why, we even have the role model of The Christ. Did he take it easy? Did he have his feet washed? Or did he not set the example. "The greatest among you, will be minister (servant) of all".

Why, even he suffered, did he not?

But to have your heart SET on MORE, NOW, instead of simply enjoying the best each day brings with everlasting life in view, your steps could before long imitate the opposer Satan.

Don't make the load or burden heavy upon those under or around you. Imitate God and be a friend, a companion to all, to the extent that you can do so, without it becoming a heavy load also upon yourself. Be of good cheer and welcome one another. All the while fulfilling any personal responsibility.

The 1335th day is likely a day that ones name is cemented in Heaven, in the "Book of life".

That is, written on God's heart.

Happy

One notable point though is the words, “’happy’ is the one who keeps in expectation” in relation to the one arriving at the 1335 days.

If we consider Jesus’ commission to appoint a faithful steward as at Matthew 24:45-47, (Happy) would be the persons who upon his arrival is found complete in faith. This also indicates that this being counted or considered “happy” would indicate a period or time of accounting, judging.

Possibly an examining of God’s people and or Christians as to whether they are still awake, spiritually or had fallen asleep at their post. How the veil that is placed over the eyes of many is to be taken into account remains to be seen.

It is also important to note that in God's word the word 'Happy' is the result of God's blessing. So, the 'man' who is declared "Happy" will likewise be the one blessed.

If this judging is the time, period, between the 1290 days and the 1335 days. Then absolutely, "happy if when" on "his master’s arrival” he is found with “oil” in his or her “lamp”. Mt 25.

Might this be a difficult thing for those not ready? According to the prophecy of Joel, the answer is yes! Thick Gloom! awaits them.

Yes, as Jesus indicated, at Luke 21:25. And Paul likewise echoed, “the sun will be turned into darkness and the moon would be turned into 'blood' BEFORE the great and illustrious day of Jehovah arrives”.

For many, hope will be hard to see, but not for those who know their God. It is important to remember, “Everyone who calls on the name, Jehovah will be saved”. I might add, without hypocrisy or those who hide what they are.

Whether the “Blood, fire and smoke mist” have a spiritual fulfilment, physical or both, as in the destruction of life and the many souls perishing, is to be seen.

Due to the effects of the 'Great Tribulation', that is; the catastrophic decay of the environment and even our own health, and the ongoing "pushing" or conflict between world powers.

Also the dismantling of the spiritual treasure trove that once was the “truth”, that is, the spiritual 'River' of information, remains to be seen.

Nevertheless, we and life, can be assured that Jehovah; not only foresees all things, he also know "How to deliver ones of faith" and at the right time for it. Mt 6:13.

Whatever we encounter in the coming days leading up to, “The great and fear inspiring day of Jehovah”, we have this guarantee, Christ died for the whole world that we might “be reconciled to him” and the unchangeable reality that “a great crowd” WILL come out of it. Jehovah has spoken it; He will do it.

My hope is that even if my calculations are incorrect, and if I or possibly you, should sleep in death before then. Your confidence might be made firm in the realities soon to unfold. Everything is right there, before our eyes, just a handful of prophetic things remain.

Including; the “saying, peace and security”, 1 Thes 5:3, which the Brothers have long pointed to as a pivotal moment in time, and these and all God's promises will likewise be, yes!

That is fulfilled, according to God's Word and promise. Just as all other things are, not according to our imagination or expectations, but exactly as He has foreseen.

Jehovah's Day, When?

Jesus said at Matthew 12:8, "Lord of the Sabbath is what the Son of Man, is".

Using this example; Jesus is not Lord only for one Sabbath, Is he? The Sabbath rule is also called the 1000 year reign.

Similarly, "Jehovah's day" or "the Great and fear inspiring day of God the Almighty", likewise is not a specific date, or one event, is it? It is a period of time of fulfillment of prophetic events, resulting in a designated outcome. That is; The removal of Satan and all in opposition to His (God's) rule and the establishment of his Kingdom Government on Earth by Christ Jesus.

"The fear of God" means; we have a reverential fear of displeasing him or loosing his favour.

It does not mean he is an enemy about to pounce. If that is what you think of him, you do not know him at all! Jesus said he himself was a model, a living representation of the behaviour, typical of The Father, John 14:9.

That is, caring, loving, feeling pity for the lowly and eager to even provide a simple meal for the hungry. "God is Love". It is only those who, either by deception or deliberate action against his Holy Spirit or His love in Action, who should dread "HIS Day".

The prophecy we have now discussed in Daniel could be a starting point or a part of it. I do not know everything, nor do I think I won't be wrong in my expectations in life at times.

One thing though is clear, the outcome for those at the end of the 1335 days is "Happy".

Following Pauls council at Hebrews 10:22-25. As “WE behold THE DAY drawing near”. Do not give up on each other or anyone, "For no-body comes to the Son unless the Father draws him”. Love out of a clean heart and request our Father for a clear conscience. 1 Pet 3:21.

Man in expectation :)

As I walked out my door, after posting this last blog. I noticed a large cloud bank, on the horizon.

It instantly reminded me of the prophetic, scriptural text, found at Rev 7:1. Which reads; “After this I saw four angels standing upon the four corners of the earth, holding tight the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow upon the earth 0r upon the sea or upon any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from the sunrising, having a seal of the living God; and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea,” then the text went on to list the make up of the 144,000 who would share in ruling over the earth from heaven as king and priest, male and female, as spirit creatures they would become, etc.

One of the last congregation studies I recall doing alongside the Jehovah’s witnesses I used to serve God with, was a watchtower study article which focused heavily on the four winds. And the angels holding them back till the word was given. The key point I got from this session was that “the end could not come until we, those whose hearts are complete toward God in faith, get it right”.

Yes, the J.W.s organization, was then, and still is, as far as I am aware, Apostate, and unclean in God’s eyes. I did notice however, that study articles, such as this one, although often littered with misdirection and ear tickling, still seemed to have an element directed by holy spirit, "SOMETIMES"!

This one had the feel that Jehovah, through Christ our Lord, was saying. Once prophecy was fulfilled, as was necessary, prior to “the end”. And as is happening as at this day. “The End” was also contingent upon us to get it right. That is, to be found clean and in standing before “the Son of man”. With a clean conscience and prepared, to the extent that is necessary to, not only survive, “without spot” through “Armageddon”, but to be fit for life as a nucleus. That is; “the great crowd” of survivors and a peoples, “of every tribe nation and tongue that would lead the earths recover in preparation for spiritual and physical healing.

It seems to me, considering the prophetic and world evidence that the time remaining is very short. How this preparing of God’s people is to proceed, I have no idea. But I’m sure, the Christ has.

It was He who would release the four winds with the authority granted him as he proved worthy to open the seals, to guide us to God’s glory. So, I being only a man, am awaiting and keeping in expectation, expecting guidance and support to materialize from the hand of “the living God”.

He has promised all things will take place, just so.

May more than is expected benefit from his undeserved kindness and patience.

How things progress into tomorrow, I do not know. One thing is certain, God's word will be proved accurate, Holy and reliable.

I have made mistakes and possibly even been wrong in my calculations. However, MY faith is never misplaced. My Lord Jesus will be my saviour, delivering me from calamity, and the many, to our Fathers love. My faith will obviously require fortification and refining. Like that of all, i expect.

May He prove to be "All things, to all peoples".

I don't know how much more I can write! My health, My Brain in particular, is struggling.

We have so much to learn and our eyes still need opening. May my God remember me for good.

The mash-up! "You must love Jehovah your God, with your whole Heart, Mind, Soul and Strength and keep His Commandments. If you do, you will be wise enough to bypass any trial with ease, and have an indefinitely lasting name with The Living One. Those who fail to take these things to heart, will suffer shame and fall short in a large way, all that is his, will be destroyed and cease to exist.

You who love Him, however, will flourish with joy, under the tent cloths of Jehovah, always." Ecc 12:13, Mark 12:30 and Ps 37:18-20.
